Tatyana Ali Gears Up For WEDDING And BABY

TATYANA ALI is gearing up for an exciting summer as she prepares to get married and welcome her first baby.

The 37-year-old actress, who played Ashley Banks on Will Smith’s hit TV show The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, revealed the news that she was engaged and expecting while on U.S. news show Entertainment Tonight on 31 March (16).

And now Tatyana, who will wed fiance Dr. Vaughn Rasberry later this year, has said the couple is feeling incredibly blessed as they prepare to tie the knot and start their family.

“It’s pretty amazing,” she tells People.com. “There’s so much good. We feel so blessed. We’re just having fun enjoying our family and our friends and that’s what we want the wedding to be about – just have a good celebration.”

However, Tatyana has confessed that she’s trying to stop herself from getting too stressed while planning her nuptials. “Because I’m expecting, I can’t feel too stressed out,” she says. “I probably would’ve been, but I can’t take (the wedding planning) that seriously.

“Things will fall into place. I have a great wedding coordinator. The stressed out part – I can leave that aside.”

As the couple await their firstborn, the actress admits she has been suffering cravings, but not for anything calorific. Instead, she’s been wanting salad!

“I’m a vegetarian,” she says. “First I was craving anything with salt and lately I just want salad.”
