Actress SALMA HAYEK has slammed U.S. presidential hopeful DONALD TRUMP for mixing up convenience store chain 7-Eleven with the 9/11 terrorist attacks during a speech.

The former reality star was making a rally speech in Buffalo, New York on Monday (18Apr16), when he mistakenly mentioned the store when speaking about the U.S. tragedy.
“Because I was down there and I watched our police and our firemen down at 7/11, down at the World Trade Center right after it came down, and I saw the greatest people I’ve ever seen in action,” he said.
Trump did not correct himself after the flub, but his campaign managers attributed it to a slip of the tongue. However, Salma is appalled by the business mogul’s mistake.
“I am a dyslexic Mexican and English is my second language, however even I do not confuse 7/11 with 9/11. #DonaldTrump,” she wrote on Twitter.com.
The Grown Ups star has previously voiced her opposition to Trump’s candidacy following controversial comments he made about Mexican immigrants in his presidential bid launch in June (15). She supports Democratic hopeful Hillary Clinton.

“We cannot let hate and discrimination determine the outcome of this election,” Hayek wrote in a campaign email for Clinton. “We owe it to the hard-working Latinos that came before us, to ourselves and to our children, to show the people who unfairly label us as criminals and speak down to us that our community is strong, meaningful and incredibly powerful.”
“We are one of the largest, youngest, and fastest-growing groups in the United States of America,” she added. “We deserve a candidate who respects the contributions we have made to this country and understands how important it is that our community continues to thrive, all while treating us (with dignity and respect).”
Trump has yet to respond to Salma’s comments.
