Kim Kardashian’s BREECH Birth Fears

Reality TV star KIM KARDASHIAN is using music, ice and hypnosis in a desperate attempt to avoid a breech birth.

The 35-year-old is currently in the latter stages of pregnancy with her second child and she is keeping fans up to date on her baby’s progress.

On Tuesday (24Nov15) Kim revealed that her little boy is lying in a breech position, which could mean she has to have a C-Section once she goes into labour. However, Kim is doing everything she can to avoid such a situation, and is hoping a variety of weird and wonderful techniques will get her baby to move into the right position.

“I have been doing everything I can to try to turn the baby,” she wrote on her website. “I lay practically upside down three times a day for 15 minutes. I play music in the right position and ice my belly in certain spots to get him to squirm out of the breech position. I even started acupuncture where I burn moxa (mugwort) on my pinky toe every day! I am even attempting hypnosis!”

If the star’s tactics are unsuccessful, she can take some comfort in the fact her doctor is one of the few people who knows how to deliver a breech baby.

“He was supposed to turn by 32 weeks,” she continued. “So now, I will have to get a C-section, or so I thought! As I lay awake late at night, researching, I’ve learned that you actually can deliver a breech baby and I feel fortunate that my doctor Paul Crane is one of the few doctors that still does this. They just don’t even teach it anymore.”

Although Kim comes from a large family, there’s no one who can help her as neither her sister Kourtney nor her mother Kris have experienced a breech birth, leaving her unsure of who to turn to.

“It’s been hard because I usually go to my mom or Kourtney for baby and pregnancy advice, but they both – with nine total pregnancies! – have never experienced one of these crazy things,” she added. “Obviously, if it’s an emergency and for the safety of my son, I will get a C-section – but if I don’t need one, I’d rather not.”
