Ex-wife Sonni Pacheco, who finalised her divorce from The Avengers star in December last year (15), claims he has fallen behind on agreed payments totalling $13,000 (£9,900) per month plus five per cent of any money he makes over $2.3 million (£1.75 million) per year to support their three-year-old daughter Ava Berlin.

The warring couple, who were only married for 10 months, are sharing custody of their little girl.

Via his representative Jeremy has now denied claims made in court papers obtained by, that he has fallen $48,000 (£36,500) behind on his support payments and had failed to pay half of the $1,600 (£1,220) fees for his daughter’s pre-school tuition.

“He has unequivocally never fallen behind on child support payments – this year he has paid several hundreds of thousands of dollars for his young daughter’s child support and well-being,” the actor’s representative tells the New York Daily News.

The 45-year-old star’s rep went on to accuse Sonni, who does not receive spousal support, of trying to maximise the money she received from him for her, rather than their daughter’s benefit.

“He (Jeremy) is a loving, attentive and caring father who moves his work schedule around to maximize his time with his daughter Ava,” the rep continued.

“In terms of pre-school tuition for the three-year-old, this was never part of the divorce decree. His ex continues on a quest of trying to publicly demean the actor and extricate him from as much money as she can for her sole benefit.”
