Gwen Stefani’s Divorce Details Are ‘REALLY JUICY’

GWEN STEFANI would love to one day detail the “juicy” story behind her divorce from GAVIN ROSSDALE.

Gwen Stefani

The No Doubt frontwoman announced her split from the British rocker in August (15), putting an end to their 13-year marriage. The news came as a surprise to many fans, who thought the couple had one of the most stable relationships in Hollywood.

Unconfirmed reports subsequently emerged suggesting Gavin had been having a three-year affair with the family childminder Mindy Mann, who had been hired by the stars to help care for their three sons, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo.

Gwen allegedly discovered the infidelity in February, 2015, and while she has stopped short of confirming the news, she previously hinted at the family drama during an interview with KIIS FM’s JoJo Wright in November (15).

“Everybody knows that my life blew up last February,” she said. “I’d just been dealing with that. Unexpected. I was going along thinking that was going to be the rest of my life and it’s not. I don’t know what happened.”

Now, in a candid interview with the New York Times, the Don’t Speak hitmaker has shared a few more details about how her life fell apart the morning after the 2015 Grammy Awards, during which she had performed with Maroon 5.

She recalls celebrating the show by grabbing some Mexican food with Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine, her fellow mentor on U.S. talent show The Voice, but when she woke up the next morning, her life had been turned upside down.

“My life was literally blown up into my face,” she exclaimed.

She declined to share specifics, but if she ever decides to write a memoir, readers will definitely be in for a good tale.

“If I could, I would just tell you everything, and you would just be in shock,” she teased. “It’s a really good, juicy story.”

Gwen does, however, touch on the pain of the heartache.

“I’m gonna die,” she recalled of her emotional state at the time. “I am dead, actually. How do I save myself? What am I going to do? How do I not go down like this?”

She decided to pour her emotions into new music for This Is What the Truth Feels Like, her first solo album in 10 years, and she was comforted by songwriting.

The mother-of-three also found a shoulder to cry on in her other The Voice co-star, Blake Shelton, who she quickly learned “had been going through literally the exact same thing in literally the exact same time frame”, following his split from fellow country star Miranda Lambert. Their friendship soon turned romantic and now the blonde beauty is truly happy, even if she is still adjusting to life as a divorcee.

“I’m not going to say I’m not still picking up the pieces and every day isn’t a challenge,” she concluded. “I’m still in shock. But it’s an awesome time.”

Gwen’s revealing interview comes days after it was revealed her kids’ former nanny, Mindy, is pregnant with her first child.
