Cher’s Representative DISMISSES Health Trouble Rumours

A representative for CHER has dismissed reports suggesting the pop superstar has undergone surgery amid a terrifying health battle.

The 69 year old faced gossip about her health after editors at America’s National Enquirer tabloid published a report suggesting Cher is seriously ill and had spent time in hospital.

However, a spokesperson for the Believe singer has branded the story “not true,” adding to that the publication’s previous reports about Cher’s health were also inaccurate: “And clearly it wasn’t true the last times they wrote about her life ending.”

The news comes just days after a representative for Cher spoke out to assure fans the pop diva is “alive and well” after a hoax duped thousands of users into believing the singer had died.

A fake memorial page for the musician/actress appeared on the social media network suggesting Cher had passed away on 19 December (15), adding that she “will be missed but not forgotten”.

The page attracted close to a million ‘likes’ before Cher’s team issued a statement assuring fans the singer is still alive.

“She joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax. She’s still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the Internet,” a spokesperson declared.

Cher previously fell victim to an online mix-up in 2013 when devotees misread a hashtag, #nowthatchersdead, which referred to former U.K. Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher following the politician’s death.
