Catherine Zeta-Jones To Play OLIVIA DE HAVILLAND In New TV Mini-Series

CATHERINE ZETA-JONES is heading back to TV to portray silver screen icon OLIVIA DE HAVILLAND in a new U.S. mini-series.

Feud director Ryan Murphy made the casting news reveal via Twitter on Tuesday (16Aug16), explaining he was “thrilled” the Oscar winner had signed up for his new TV project.

The eight-episode mini-series, which stars actresses Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon as movie icons Joan Crawford and Bette Davis, will chronicle the pair’s classic rivalry.

Feud will also feature Alfred Molina, Judy Davis, and and Stanley Tucci as movie boss Jack Warner.

Zeta-Jones became a movie star after making her name as an actress in British period drama The Darling Buds of May back in the 1990s.
